District Court

     Cory Monroe Johnson, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to driving while barred. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $625 plus court costs.

     Andrew Allen DeVault, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to assault with intent to inflict serious injury and driving while license denied/revoked. He was sentenced to two years in prison. His sentence was suspended. DeVault was fined a total of $1,625 plus court costs, and placed on supervised probation for two years.

     Aaron James Coon, Ames, pleaded not guilty to sex offender registration violation 1st offense. A jury trial is set for June 27.

     Erica Abigail Sams, Olin, was charged with possession of burglar tools and possession of marijuana 1st offense. An arraignment is set for April 10.

     Nichole J. Peterson, Monticello, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 3rd offense. She was sentenced to 90 days in jail. Her sentence was suspended. Peterson was fined $625 plus court costs, and placed on self-supervised probation for two years.

     Seth John Dunnahoo, Mechanicsville, pleaded guilty to child endangerment. He was sentenced to two years in prison. His sentence was suspended. Dunnahoo was fined $625 plus court costs, and placed on supervised probation for two years. He also pleaded guilty to public intoxication. He was fined $65 plus court costs.

     Charles Robert Evans, North Liberty, pleaded not guilty to possession of contraband in a correctional institution. A jury trial is set for June 27.

     Cynthia Lee Shelton, Palm Coast, Fla., was charged with going armed with intent and assault with a firearm. An arraignment is set for April 3.

     Bryce Wade Orcutt, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to controlled substance violation (methamphetamine) and obstruction of prosecution or defense. A jury trial is set for June 27.

     Bret James Tratchel, West Liberty, was charged with 1st degree theft. An arraignment is set for April 10.

     Troy Lynn Petz, Jr., Fort Madison, pleaded not guilty to assault on persons engaged in certain occupations. A jury trial is set for May 2.

     Steven Ray Barnes, Lost Nation, pleaded guilty to eluding and OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail. Twenty-eight days were suspended. Barnes was fined a total of $1,565 plus court costs, and placed on self-supervised probation for one year.

     Gunner Andrew Domeyer, Delaware, pleaded not guilty to 4th degree theft. A jury trial is set for May 2.

     Andrew L. DeWulf, Silvis, Ill., was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. An arraignment is set for April 10.

     Joshua Patrick Cudahy, Scotch Grove, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. An arraignment is set for April 10.

     Stanislaus Goodshield Firecloud, Anamosa, was charged with assault on persons engaged in certain occupations. An arraignment is set for April 3.

     Pattrick Loren O’Neal, Monticello, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for April 18.

     Dechone Lee Jackson, Monticello, pleaded guilty to OWI 3rd offense. He was sentenced to five years in prison. All but 30 days were suspended, to be served in jail. Jackson was fined $3,125 plus court costs, and placed on supervised probation for three years. He also pleaded guilty to manner of conveyance-assembled unloaded gun. He was fined $25 plus court costs.

     Scott Fredrick Lubben, Monticello, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. Judgment was deferred. Lubben as assessed a civil penalty of $1,250 plus court costs. He was also placed on self-supervised probation for one year.

     Bruce Michael Miell, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. Judgment was deferred. Miell as assessed a civil penalty of $1,250 plus court costs. He was also placed on self-supervised probation for one year.
