District Court

     Charles James Ellison, Monticello, was found guilty of three counts of contempt of court and pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while license barred. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, and fined $625 plus court costs. Ellison was also cited for driving while barred. A court date is set for July 15.

     Grover Jay Quinn, Jr., Wyoming, pleaded not guilty to driving while barred. A jury trial is set for Nov. 3.

     San Juana Noemi Trujillo, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to child endangerment. A jury trial is set for Nov. 3.

     Brad Allen Levsen, Anamosa, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while license is barred. An arraignment is set for July 27.

     Joshua David Klaren, Marion, was cited for driving while barred. A court date is set for July 29.

     John Christopher Jacobson, Olin, was cited for driving while barred. A court date is set for July 29.

     Andrew Lee Holland, Viola, was cited for driving while barred. A court date is set for Aug. 12.

     Adam Lee Gersdorf, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to manufacturing, delivering, or possessing with intent to deliver methamphetamine. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on probation for three years. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,000 plus court costs.

     Nathaniel Richard Crittenden, Mechanicsville, pleaded not guilty to 3rd degree sexual abuse and two counts of assault with intent to commit sexual abuse. A jury trial is set for Nov. 3.

     Carly Jean Dixon, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree theft, OWI 3rd offense, and driving while barred. A jury trial is set for Sept. 22.

     Elisabeth Warren, Monticello, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. She was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs.

     Chad William Heskett, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to assault causing bodily injury/mental illness. A jury trial is set for Nov. 3.

     Larry Dean Bell, Sr., Fort Madison, pleaded not guilty to four counts of indecent exposure. A jury trial is set for Jan. 26, 2021.

     Randall Winston Wood, Aurora, Mo., pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Nov. 3.

     Chris J. Phelps, Cedar Rapids, was arrested for two counts of 3rd degree attempted burglary. No court date was set.

     Kiel John Dirks, Monticello, was found guilty of the lesser offense of OWI 2nd offense. He was sentenced to two years in prison, and fined $1,875 plus court costs. His sentence was delayed.

     Joseph Matthias Kouba, Wyoming, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Gene Eric Stimpson, Morley, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Nov. 3.

     Spencer Thomas Hinrichsen, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to OWI 2nd offense, driving while barred, and eluding. A jury trial is set for Nov. 3.

     Eric Christopher Nippe, Clarence, was charged with OWI 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for July 8.
