District Court

     Adam Lee Triplett, Guttenberg, pleaded not guilty to sex offender residency violation 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Nov. 3.

     Chris J. Phelps, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to public intoxication. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $65 plus court costs.

     Kyle Andrew Hollenback, New Vienna, pleaded not guilty to going armed with intent and assault with intent to inflict serious injury. A jury trial is set for Dec. 8.

     Rodney Leea Knight, Hiawatha, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree harassment, carrying weapons, possession of marijuana 1st offense, and two counts of controlled substance violation. A jury trial is set for Dec. 1.

     Pamela Kay Mattan, Hiawatha, pleaded not guilty to assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, possession of marijuana 1st offense, possession/carrying a dangerous weapon while under the influence, and two counts of controlled substance violation. A jury trial is set for Dec. 1.

     Aimee Nicole Johnson, Filley, Neb., pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a prescription drug. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on self-supervised probation and one year. She was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs.

     Noah Hunter Simmons I, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs.

     Jamie Ohowell, Wyoming, pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of assault. He was fined $65 plus court costs.

     Jamie Carl Etten, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to the amended charge of unlawful operation of a snowmobile (under the influence). He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, and fined $625 plus court costs. All but four days were suspended, and Etten was placed on unsupervised probation for one year.

     Mark Lee Hansen, Olin, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Dec. 8.

     Daniel Clair Thompson, Hopkinton, was charged with OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Aug. 19.

     Macie Kae Medina, Cedar Rapids, was charged with OWI 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 19.
