District Court

     Thomas Lee Hand, Olin, pleaded guilty to animal abuse and animal torture. He was sentenced to two years in prison, and fined a total of $1,500 plus court costs. All but 60 days were suspended, and Hand was placed on probation for two years.

     Tanner Clayton Hayzlett, Olin, pleaded guilty to interference with official acts with injury, assault causing bodily injury-domestic, and driving while barred. He was sentenced to one year in jail, and fined a total of $1,800 plus court costs. All but two days were suspended, and Hayzlett was placed on probation for two years. He had a charge of child endangerment, dismissed.

     Dillon Lee Graf, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to driving while barred and operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent. A jury trial is set for June 22.

     Bailey Nicole O’Connell, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to possession of ecstasy 1^st offense and possession of marijuana 1^st offense. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. She was ordered to pay civil penalties totaling $860 plus court costs.

     Patricia Ann Brawner, Albia, was cited for driving while license denied/revoked. A court date is set for March 24.

     Lukas Scott Wilson, Montiello, was charged with OWI 1^st offense. An arraignment is set for March 1.
