District Court

     Jason Allen Hand, Monticello, pleaded guilty to assault by dangerous weapon. He was sentenced to two years in prison, and fined $625 plus court costs. Both the sentence and fine were suspended, and Hand was placed on supervised probation for two years. He was also ordered to pay victim restitution.

     Michael William Huth, Jr., Olin, was charged with 3rd degree theft, nine counts of 3rd degree burglary, on-going criminal conduct-unlawful activity, 1st degree theft, unauthorized use of a credit card, and possession of burglar’s tools. A preliminary hearing is set for May 8.

     Jonathan Robert Seyfert, Cedar Rapids, was charged with child endangerment and OWI 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for May 17.

     Holly Marie Bedenbender, Anamosa, was charged with 2nd degree theft. A preliminary hearing is set for May 17.

     Bradley Allan Dugan, Anamosa, was charged with 1st degree theft. An arraignment is set for May 15. He was also charged with dominion/control of a firearm/offensive weapon by a felon. A preliminary hearing is set for May 12.

     Cori Jo Kula, Central City, was charged with 2nd degree exercising control over stolen property and possession of methamphetamine 1st offense. An arraignment is set for May 8.

     Tracy Marie Beddingfield, Central City, was charged with forgery. A preliminary hearing is set for May 12.

     Brett Mitchell Bloomquist, Monticello, was charged with willful injury causing serious injury. A preliminary hearing is set for May 10.

     Erica Abigail Sams, Anamosa, was arrested for possession of contraband in a correctional institution. No court date was set.

     Jennifer Rae Armstrong, Onslow, pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine 1st offense. A jury trial is set for July 18.

     Dalton Hunter Sievers, Anamosa, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for May 23.

     Timothy Terrance Kelly, Spragueville, was charged with OWI 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for May 17.

     Eric Charles Struss, Cedar Rapids, was charged with OWI 2nd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for May 23.

     Jacob Scott Miller, Anamosa, was charged with OWI 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for May 17.

     John Richard Schilt, Monticello, was charged with OWI 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for May 17.
