District Court

     Cassandra Marie Luzum, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to forgery and identity theft. She was sentenced to two years in prison, and fined a total of $2,000 plus court costs. The sentence was suspended, and she was placed on supervised probation for two years.

     Chenoa Lynn Denolf, Onslow, was found guilty of driving while barred. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail, and fined $855 plus court costs. The sentence was suspended, and she was placed on self-supervised probation for two years. She was ordered to pay victim restitution.

     Seth Alan McDonell, Monticello, pleaded guilty to driving while barred. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail, and fined $855 plus court costs. All but five days were suspended, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year.

     Jasmine Frantz, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to assault on persons in certain occupations-causing bodily injury. Sentence and fine are pending.

     Talanda Champagne, Anamosa, was cited for driving while barred. A court date is set for Dec. 1.

     Jason Dean Holubar, Oxford Junction, pleaded guilty to domestic abuse assault-dangerous weapon. He was sentenced to two years in prison, and fined $855 plus court costs. The sentence was suspended, and he was placed on supervised probation for two years. The fine was also suspended. Holubar also pleaded guilty to driving while barred. He was sentenced to 20 days in jail, and fined $855 plus court costs. The fine was suspended. He further pled guilty to operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent. He Holubar was sentenced to 60 days in jail, and fined $855 plus court costs. The fine was suspended, and he was ordered to pay victim restitution.

     Sarah Beth McMurran, Monticello, pleaded guilty to forgery. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on supervised probation for three years. She was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,025 plus court costs, and victim restitution in the amount of $118.

     Michaela L. Devaney, Monticello, pleaded guilty to 1st degree theft. Sentence and fine are pending.

     Troy Stapleton, Rock Falls, Ill., was charged with 2nd degree theft. A preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 19.

     Daniel Jameson Ostroot, Marion, was charged with willful injury-causing serious injury. A preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 19.

     Keegan Terrance Hebert, Monticello, pleaded guilty to domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $430 plus court costs, and victim restitution.

     Brooke Marie Lambing, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. Judgment was deferred and she was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. She was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $430 plus court costs.

     Mindy Kay Martin, Wyoming, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense and possession of methamphetamine 1st offense. An arraignment is set for Nov. 22.

     Charles Leroy Fellers, Monticello, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense and possession of methamphetamine 1st offense. An arraignment is set for Nov. 22.

     Isai Zapo Escribano, Wyoming, pleaded not guilty to domestic abuse assault-injury/mental illness 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Dec. 28.

     Andrew Vitalyvich Likanchuck, Anamosa, was cited for possession of marijuana 1st offense. A court date is set for Dec. 1.

     Bryan Carl Beck, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. Judgment was deferred and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,250 plus court costs, and victim restitution.

     Travis Raymond Staskal, Maquoketa, pleaded guilty to OWI 3rd offense. He was sentenced to five years in prison, and fined $3,125 plus court costs. All but 30 days were suspended, to be served in jail. He was placed on supervised probation for three years. Staskal also pleaded guilty to driving while barred. He was sentenced to 364 days in jail, and fined $855 plus court costs. All but 30 days were suspended, and he was placed on supervised probation for two years. The fine was suspended.

     Benjamin Wayne Fuller, Monticello, was charged with assault on persons in certain occupations, OWI 1st offense, and interference with official acts-causing injury. No court date was set.
