District Court

     Sarah Beth McMurran, Monticello, pleaded guilty to two counts of driving while barred. She was sentenced to a total of 60 days in jail, and fined a total of $1,750 plus court costs. All but 15 days were suspended, and she was placed on self-supervised probation for two years.

     David Clyde Potter, Waterloo, pleaded not guilty to domestic abuse assault 2nd offense. A jury trial is set for Feb. 15.

     Keirston Lee Peterson, Anamosa, was cited for driving while barred. A court date is set for Dec. 15.

     Grant Tyler Troyer, North English, pleaded guilty to 3rd degree theft. Sentence and fine are pending.

     Kyler Radford Brundage, Wyoming, pleaded guilty to lascivious acts with a minor. Sentence and fine are pending.

     Curtis Elliott Ellingson, Olin, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine 1st offense. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, and fined $430 plus court costs.

     Jacquelyn M. Hoftender, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. She was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $430 plus court costs.

     Tina Marie Holub, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to assault causing bodily injury/mental illness. A jury trial is set for Jan. 4.

     Jacob Michael Richard Poduska, Olin, was charged with driving while license denied/revoked and providing false identification information. An arraignment is set for Dec. 20.

     Fayette Antania Smith, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to contempt. She was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined court costs. The sentence is to run concurrently with a sentence in Linn County.

     Shelley Bieber, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. She was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,250 plus court costs.

     Brent A. Durgin, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Paul Donald Schmidt, Monticello, was charged with OWI 1st offense. No court date was set.
