District Court

     Shauna Lee Haas, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to child endangerment, possession of prescription drug/device without prescription, and possession of marijuana 1st offense. She was sentenced to two years in prison and fined a total of $1,255 plus court costs. Both the sentence and fine were suspended. Haas was placed on probation for one year. She also pleaded guilty to possession of contraband on/in grounds of a correctional facility-methamphetamine. She was sentenced to five years in prison and fined $750 plus court costs. Both were also suspended, and Haas was placed on probation for three years.

     Nicholas Scott Seeley, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to driving while barred. He was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $625 plus court costs.

     Cliff Renzo Sills, Jr., Olin, was charged with operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent. An arraignment is set for June 19.    

     James Lee Bonjour, Monticello, was arrested for carrying weapons and OWI 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for June 23.

     Robert Gibson Haas, Cascade, was charged with domestic abuse assault-impeding air/blood flow causing bodily injury. A preliminary hearing is set for June 14.

     Bradley Allen Bramer, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine 3rd offense. A jury trial is set for July 25.

     Michael William Huth, Jr., Olin, pleaded not guilty to five counts of 3rd degree burglary. A jury trial is set for July 25.

     Brett Mitchell Bloomquist, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to willful injury-causing serious injury. A jury trial is set for Aug. 15.

     Damion Rashaud Martin, Anamosa, was charged with 1st degree harassment, false imprisonment, and two counts of domestic abuse assault. An arraignment is set for June 26.

     Holly Marie Bedenbender, Anamosa, was cited for 2nd degree theft and six counts of 3rd degree burglary. An arraignment is set for June 19.

     Michael Terry Smolek, Lowden, was found guilty to 4th degree theft. Sentencing is set for June 12.

     Bradley Dean Luchtenburg, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $315 plus court costs.

     Quinton Anthony Edwards, Martelle, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Aug. 22.

     Paul Edwin Nelson, Oxford Junction, was charged with domestic abuse assault. An arraignment is set for June 19.

     Dylon Scott Kula, Anamosa, was charged with driving while license denied/revoked. A preliminary hearing is set for June 21.

     Mitchell Lee Wolford, Monticello, was arrested for domestic abuse assault-injury/mental illness. No court date was set.

     Roy Louis Tomkins, Clarence, pleaded not guilty to OWI 3rd offense. A jury trial is set for Sept. 12.

     Aaron R. Williams, Lancaster, Wis., pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He received a deferred judgment, and was placed on probation for one year. Williams was also ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,250 plus court costs.

     Scott Alan Bradley, Jr., Monticello, pleaded not guilty to OWI 3rd offense. A jury trial is set for Sept. 12.

     Jonathan Robert Seyfert, Anamosa, was charged with OWI 1st offense. An arraignment is set for June 19.

     Eric Charles Struss, Cedar Rapids, was charged with OWI 2nd offense. An arraignment is set for June 19.

     Jacob Scott Miller, Anamosa, was charged with OWI 2nd offense. An arraignment is set for June 26.

     Lauren Frances Herren, Springville, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Aug. 1.
