District Court

     Aaron Deverne Fuessley, Monticello, pleaded guilty to two counts of driving while barred. He was fined a total of $1,250 plus court costs, and sentenced to a total of 30 days in jail. The fine was suspended for each count.

     Aaron James Coon, Ames, pleaded guilty to failure to comply with sex offender registry requirements. He was fined $625 plus court costs.

     Alison Marie Spindle, Cascade, was charged with child endangerment and possession of marijuana 1^st offense. An arraignment is set for Aug. 14.

     Gauge Leon Linne, Oxford Junction, pleaded not guilty to sex offender-verification violation 1^st offense. A jury trial is set for Nov. 7.

     Alexis Nicole Lakose, Oxford Junction, was charged with 3^rd degree criminal mischief and child endangerment. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 23.

     Martin Joseph Payton, Monticello, was charged with possession of methamphetamine 1^st offense, possession of cocaine 1^st offense, four counts of child endangerment, and delivering/possessing with intent to deliver methamphetamine. An arraignment is set for Aug. 21. He was also charged with another possession of methamphetamine. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 23.

     Jennifer Ann Payton, Anamosa, was charged with possession of methamphetamine 1^st offense, possession of cocaine 1^st offense, four counts of child endangerment, and delivering/possessing with intent to deliver methamphetamine. An arraignment is set for Aug. 21. She was also charged with another possession of methamphetamine. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 23.

     Matthew Raymond Bills, New Vienna, was charged with possession of marijuana 3^rd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 23.

     Dalton Jud Starn, Anamosa, was cited for eluding. A preliminary hearing was waived. No further court date was set.

     Heather Joanne Calhoon, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to controlled substance violation (marijuana) and possession of controlled substance (cocaine) 1^st offense. A jury trial was set for Nov. 14.

     Adam Joseph Merfeld, Monticello, was charged with enticing a minor under 16-sexual purpose and assault with intent to commit sexual abuse. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 16.

     Frank Thomas Young, Anamosa, was charged with 2^nd degree burglary. An arraignment is set for Aug. 21.

     Kori Lynn McDaniel, Wyoming, was charged with forgery. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 23.

     Melissa May Jenkins, Anamosa, was charged with controlled substance violation. A preliminary hearing was waived. No further court date was set.

     Jeffrey Ray Jenkins, Marion, was charged with three counts of controlled substance violation (methamphetamine). No court date was set.

     Tami Lynn Duffy, Cascade, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 1^st offense. A jury trial is set for Nov. 7.

     John Joseph Cupples, Onslow, pleaded not guilty to driving while license denied/revoked. A jury trial is set for Nov. 7.

     Kenneth Kentrell Grimes, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to driving while license denied/revoked. A jury trial is set for Nov. 7.

     Julio Huizar Espericueta, Manitowoc, Wis., pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 1^st offense. A jury trial is set for Nov. 7.

     John David Strausser, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to 2^nd degree criminal mischief. A jury trial is set for Nov. 14.

     Jessica Lynn Davis, Monticello, was charged with possession of methamphetamine 1^st offense and possession of prescription drug/device without prescription. An arraignment is set for Aug. 21.

     Sharayah Danielle Owens, Cedar Rapids, was charged with assault on persons engaged in certain occupations. An arraignment is set for Aug. 21.

     Coleman Joseph Hardin, Bettendorf, was charged with driving while license denied/revoked. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 23.

     Michael Gene Recker, Scotch Grove, was cited for driving while license denied/revoked. A court date was set for Aug. 9.

     Daniel Ryan Petersen, Anamosa, was charged with possession of marijuana 1^st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 23.

     Nicholas Todd Petersen, Anamosa, was arrested for possession of marijuana 1^st offense and gathering where marijuana is used. No court date was set.

     Reid Spencer Carrier, Anamosa, was charged with possession of marijuana 1^st offense and gathering where marijuana is used. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 23.

     Jeanette Sue Espe, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1^st offense and possession of methamphetamine 1^st offense. A jury trial is set for Nov. 7.

     Kayla Ann Kurt, Monticello, was charged with OWI 1^st offense. An arraignment is set for Aug. 28.

     Jamie Alen Boge, Anamosa, was charged with OWI 1^st offense, possession of methamphetamine 1^st offense, and possession of prescription drug/device without prescription. An arraignment is set for Aug. 21.

     Darel Matthew Secrist, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1^st offense. No court date was set.
