District Court

     Brandon Howard Wedig, Dubuque, was charged with possession of marijuana 3^rd offense. An arraignment is set for Oct. 30.

     Darren Anthony Daugherty, Anamosa, was charged with operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent. An arraignment is set for Oct. 30.

     David Allen Miller, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to 2^nd degree theft. He was sentenced to five years in prison and fined $750 plus court costs. Both the sentence and fine were suspended, and Miller was placed on supervised probation for three years.

     Marvin Lewis Hunter, Martelle, pleaded not guilty to assault while displaying a dangerous weapon and going armed with intent. A jury trial is set for Jan. 9, 2018.

     Denise Marie O’Brien, Monticello, was found guilty of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). She was fined $315 plus court costs, and sentenced to two days in jail.

     Jeffrey Allen Mull, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 2^nd offense. He was fined $1,875 plus court costs, and sentenced to seven days in jail.

     Chase Craig Haker, Morley, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (marijuana). He was fined court costs, and placed on self-supervised probation for one year.

     Race Martin Hacker, Morley, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (marijuana). He was fined court costs, and placed on self-supervised probation for one year.

     Shayla Joanne Hall, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1^st offense. She was placed on unsupervised probation for one year, and fined a civil penalty of $1,250 plus court costs.

     Jennifer Lynn Wilt Ritter, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1^st offense. She was fined $1,250 plus court costs, and sentenced to two days in jail.

     Nicole Jean Hicks, Guttenberg, pleaded guilty to OWI 1^st offense. She was fined $1,250 plus court costs, and sentenced to two days in jail.

     Braxton Phillip Matthiesen, Monticelllo, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1^st offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 23, 2018.

     Audrey Lynn Sheehy, Hopkinton, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1^st offense and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) 1^st offense. A jury trial is set for Dec. 5.

     Jason William Aitchison, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to OWI 2^nd offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 9, 2018.

     Gregory Alan Buol, Onslow, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1^st offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 9, 2018.
