District Court

     Anthony Robert Ginther, Monticello, pleaded guilty to two counts of failure to comply with sex offender registry requirements. He was fined a total of $1,250 plus court costs. Ginther also had a charge of sex offender-providing false information, dismissed.

     Jeramy James Kray, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent. A jury trial is set for Feb. 20.

     Luther Joe Gilbert, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to assault while displaying a dangerous weapon. A jury trial is set for Jan. 9.

     David Allen Miller, Anamosa, was charged with driving while barred, eluding and operating a motor vehicle without owner’s consent. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 6.

     Kip David Wilson, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to two counts of 1st degree harassment. A jury trial is set for March 6.

     James Alan Loehr, Anamosa, was charged with driving while barred. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 13.

     Jeremy Evan Boge, Anamosa, was charged with domestic abuse assault-impeding flow of air/blood. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 4.

     Todd Duane Moore, Anamosa, was found guilty of possession of marijuana 3rd offense, possession of psilocybin mushrooms 3rd offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was fined a total of $1,440 plus court costs, with $750 suspended. Moore was also sentenced to five years in prison. His sentence was suspended, and he was placed on probation for three years. He was also found guilty of OWI 1st offense. He was fined $1,250 plus court costs, and sentenced to two days in jail. Moore was found not guilty of possession of methamphetamine.

     Charles Robert Evans, North Liberty, was found guilty of possession of contraband on grounds of correctional facility. He was fined $750 plus court costs, and sentenced to five years in prison. Both the fine and sentence were suspended, and Evans was placed on probation for two years.

     John Richard Schilt, Monticello, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana, driving while barred and OWI 1st offense. He was fined a total of $2,190 plus court costs, and sentenced to two days in jail.

     Kaya Rose Teasdale, Monroe, Wis., pleaded not guilty to drug distribution violation to person under 18 and possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Feb. 20.

     Travis Alan Camp, Monticello, was charged with forgery. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 13.

     Misty Lynn Kraft, North Liberty, was charged with forgery. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 13.

     Matthew Drew Mayberry, Wyoming, was charged with 2nd degree criminal mischief, assault while participating in a felony and eluding. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 6.

     Dalton Hunter Sievers, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs.

     Jerry Lee Ohowell, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine 1st offense and possession of marijuana 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined a total of $630 plus court costs. Ohowell had a charge of unlawful possession of prescription drug, dismissed.

     John Thomas Spalding, Monticello, pleaded guilty to domestic abuse assault-causing injury/mental illness. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs.

     Nicholas Todd Petersen, Olin, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense and gathering where controlled substances are used. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty totaling $630 plus court costs. Petersen had a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, dismissed.

     Reid Spencer Carrier, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana and gathering. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty totaling $630 plus court costs.

     Kathleen Sue McNamara, Anamosa, was charged with 2nd degree harassment. An arraignment is set for Dec. 11.

     Kristopher D. Gilson, Oxford Junction, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 13.

     Elizabeth May Gifford, Mechanicsville, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. She was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Elijah J. Dowell, Monticello, pleaded guilty to OWI 2nd offense. He was sentenced to seven days in jail, and fined $1,875 plus court costs.

     Sarah Jane Luchtenburg, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. She was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Gregory Michael Heyl, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,250 plus court costs.

     Brandon Dean Heskett, Anamosa, was charged with OWI 1st offense. An arraignment is set for Dec. 18.
