District Court

     Robert Ryan Lee Baer, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to driving while barred. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, and fined $625 plus court costs. Baer also pleaded guilty to prisoner possession of contraband while confined and possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) 2nd offense. He was sentenced to five years in prison to run concurrently with a sentence in another county, and fined a total of $1,375 plus court costs. The sentence and fine were suspended, and he was placed on probation for three years.

     Tyler John Koob, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of assault. He was fined $100 plus court costs.

     Cory Monroe Johnson, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 3rd offense. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, and fined $625 plus court costs. His sentence is to run concurrently with a sentence in another county. The fine was suspended.

     Chenoa Lynn Denolf, Onslow, pleaded not guilty to driving while barred. A jury trial is set for March 13.

     Ray Dean Bennett, Monticello, pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail, and fined $315 plus court costs. Twenty-three days were suspended, and Bennett was placed on self-supervised probation for one year.

     Jeremy Dean Hunter, Wyoming, pleaded not guilty to child endangerment. No court date was set. He also pleaded not guilty to domestic abuse assault-injury/mental illness. A jury trial is set for March 13.

     Jasmine Marie Bauer, Cedar Rapids, was arrested for failure to report contraband in correctional institution and unlawful possession of prescription drug. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 27.

     Kyle Brandon Orcutt, Anamosa, was arrested for possession of marijuana 3rd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 3.

     Jesse David Iben, Monticello, had a charge of 3rd degree theft, dismissed.

     Frank Thomas Young, Anamosa, was found guilty of domestic abuse assault and two counts of 3rd degree burglary. He was sentenced to five years in prison to run concurrently with two other sentences, and fined a total of $2,250 plus court costs. The sentence and fine were suspended, and Young was placed on probation for three years.

     Kori Lynn McDaniel, Wyoming, pleaded guilty to forgery. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. She was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $625 plus court costs.

     Deke Rodney Heister, Onslow, pleaded not guilty to going armed with intent and two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon. No court date was set.

     Gabriel Ari Finn, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs.

     Coleman Joseph Hardin, Bettendorf, pleaded guilty to driving while license revoked. He was fined $1,000 plus court costs.

     Candi Marie Giellis, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. She was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs.

     Kristopher D. Gilson, Oxford Junction, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for March 13.

     John Richard Schilt, Monticello, was arrested for driving while license denied/revoked. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 27.

     Kayla Christine Lexus Wright, Iowa City, was arrested for possession of marijuana 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 27.

     Roy James Bartram, Wyoming, was arrested for unlawful possession of a prescription drug. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 3.

     Allison Marie Whitenack, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for March 13.

     Renie Katheryn Frisby McCallum, Manchester, was arrested for OWI 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 27.
