District Court

     Megan Barbara Sarazin, Dubuque, was charged with possession of marijuana 2nd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 14.

     Cory Michael Jones, Dubuque, pleaded guilty to driving while barred. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, to run concurrent with a sentence in Dubuque County. Jones was also fined $625 plus court costs.

     Marvin Lewis Hunter, Martelle, pleaded guilty to assault while displaying a dangerous weapon. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on unsupervised probation for two years. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $625 plus court costs.

     Dustin Travis Smolek, Lowden, pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of 3rd degree burglary. He was sentenced to two years in prison, and fined $625 plus court costs. The sentence was suspended, and Smolek was placed on supervised probation for two years. He also had a charge of 5th degree theft, dismissed.

     Jasmine Dawn Bennett, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to 2nd degree theft. A jury trial is set for April 24.

     Alex Leon Dirks, Anamosa, was charged with eluding and assault on persons engaged in certain occupations. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 21.

     Zachary Ryan Fleming, Anamosa, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 21.

     Michelle Lea Schoon, Anamosa, was charged with OWI 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 21.

     Levi Mathew Welker, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to public intoxication. He was sentenced to seven days in jail, served concurrently with another sentence. He was fined $315 plus court costs.

     Tracy Ann Neunaber, Central City, pleaded not guilty to voluntary absence from custody. A jury trial is set for April 10.

     James Noel Townsend, Olin, pleaded guilty to 5th degree criminal mischief. He was fined $100 plus court costs, and ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $375.

     Randy Kevin Moenk, Hopkinton, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Brandon Michael Martin, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for April 24.

     Joshua Dennis Fairbanks, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for April 10.

     Travis Wayne Young, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for April 24.

     Thomas John Engelbart, Anamosa, was charged with OWI 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 21.

     Jon Joseph Menster, Olin, was charged with OWI 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 21.

     Bradley Dean Monk, Anamosa, was charged with OWI 2nd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 21.
