District Court

     Robert Nathan Bly, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. His sentence is pending.

     Jeffrey Thomas Annen, Le Claire, pleaded guilty to domestic assault causing bodily injury. His sentence is pending.

     Dustin Philip Rickels, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to driving while barred. A jury trial is set for May 15.

     Charles James Ellison, Maquoketa, was charged with domestic abuse assault 2nd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 21.

     Kacie Fleming, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of conspiring to manufacture, deliver, and/or possess with the intent to deliver methamphetamine. She was sentenced to 10 years in prison with the sentence to run concurrently with a previous sentence, and fined $1,000 plus court costs. Fleming also had charges of conspiring to manufacture, deliver, and/or possess with the intent to deliver marijuana, driving while license under suspension, and possession of drug paraphernalia, all dismissed.

     Michael Gene Recker, Scotch Grove, was charged with controlled substance violation and driving while license denied/revoked. A jury trial is set for May 15.

     Andrew Alan Witham, Muscatine, pleaded guilty to OWI and the lesser offenses of assault, 3rd degree theft, and eluding. He was sentenced to two years in prison, and fined a total of $2,500 plus court costs. All but seven days of the sentence were suspended, and Witham was placed on supervised probation for three years. He was also ordered to pay victim restitution. Witham had charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless driving, failure to stop in assured distance, driving while license under suspension, speeding, and failure to maintain control, all dismissed.

     Luther Joe Gilbert, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to 2nd degree criminal mischief, possession of burglar’s tools, 3rd degree theft, 3rd degree criminal mischief, and three counts of 3rd degree burglary. No court date was set.

     Kasper John Heiken, Wyoming, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs and victim restitution. Heiken was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. He had a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, dismissed.

     Darlingboy Forkpah, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs. He was also placed on unsupervised probation for one year. Forkpah had a charge of interference with official acts, dismissed.

     Roy James Bartram, Wyoming, pleaded not guilty to unlawful possession of prescription drug. A jury trial is set for May 15.

     Adam Joseph Neunaber, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for May 15.

     Randy Keith Moenk, Hopkinton, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Joshua Dennis Fairbanks, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for April 10.

     Dina Sue Thomas, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for May 15.

     Trent David Aitchison, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for May 15.

     Christina Jennifer Knepper, Cascade, was charged with OWI 2nd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 28.
