District Court

     Jonathan Robert Seyfert, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to child endangerment and OWI 1st offense. Sentencing is set for April 30.

     Bryson John Mundorf, Martelle, pleaded not guilty to 3rd degree theft. A jury trial is set for June 5.

     Deke Rodney Heister, Onslow, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault by use/display of a dangerous weapon. He was sentenced to a total of four years in prison, and fined a total of $1,250 plus court costs. The sentences were suspended, and Heister was placed on supervised probation for two years. He was also ordered to pay victim restitution. Heister also had charges of going armed with intent, assault, and three traffic violations, all dismissed.

     Timothy Wesley Evans, Cedar Rapids, was charged with possession of methamphetamine 3rd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. A preliminary hearing is set for March 21.

     Matthew John Peterson, Cedar Rapids, was charged with possession of a controlled substance in a correctional institution, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. A preliminary hearing is set for March 14.

     John Richard Schilt, Monticello, was charged with possession of contraband in correctional institution, driving while barred, and possession of marijuana 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for March 21.

     Kolin Chandler Geiger, Olin, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $315 plus court costs.

     Kayla Marie Hurt, Strawberry Point, pleaded not guilty to 4th degree theft. A jury trial is set for June 5.

     Ray Dean Bennett, Scotch Grove, pleaded not guilty to domestic abuse assault 2nd offense. A jury trial is set for June 5.

     Gregory Alan Buol, Onslow, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Blazo Oroz, Springville, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Garrett Burke Sayre, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for June 5.

     Tanner Hayzlett, Olin, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for June 5.

     Bradley Dean Monk, Anamosa, had a charge of OWI 2nd offense, dismissed.

     Christina Jennifer Knepper, Cascade, pleaded not guilty to OWI 2nd offense. A jury trial is set for June 5.
