District Court

     Doneshia Jeanne Moyer, Anamosa, was charged with unauthorized use of credit card. A preliminary hearing is set for April 18.

     Heather Joanne Calhoon, Monticello, pleaded guilty to willful injury resulting in bodily injury, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana 2nd offense, possession of prescription drug without valid prescription, and possession of cocaine 2nd offense. She was sentenced to five years in prison, and fined a total of $3,065 plus court costs. The sentence was suspended, and Calhoon was placed on probation for three years. She also had a charge of 1st degree robbery, dismissed.

     Jeffrey Ray Jenkins, Marion, pleaded guilty to manufacturing, delivering, or possessing with intent to manufacture or deliver methamphetamine; gathering where controlled substances are unlawfully used; conspiring to manufacture, delivering and/or possessing with intent to deliver methamphetamine; and two counts of delivering and/or possessing with intent to deliver methamphetamine. He was sentenced to a total of 10 years in prison, and fined a total of $207,500. Five years of the sentence were suspended; fines were suspended. Jenkins was placed on probation for three years, following the remaining five-year sentence.

     John William James Melville, Jr., Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to domestic abuse assault-impeding flow of air/blood. A jury trial is set for June 26.

     Ally Renae Starr, Maquoketa, was cited for possession of marijuana 1st offense. A court date was set for April 4.

     Corydon James Strickell, Anamosa, was cited for 4th degree criminal mischief. A court date was set for April 11.

     Tylor Dean Boheman, Monticello, was cited for 4th degree criminal mischief. A court date was set for April 11.

     Brandon Dean Heskett, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Andrew William Walton, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense and possession of marijuana. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. Walton was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,250 plus court costs.

     Derek William Duecker, Mechanicsville, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Andrew Joseph Bottleman, Center Junction, was charged with OWI 2nd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for April 18.

     Kevin Miles McClure, Stanwood, pleaded guilty to OWI 2nd offense. He was sentenced to seven days in jail, and fined $1,875 plus court costs.
