District Court

     Jonathan Robert Seyfert, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to two counts of operating motor vehicle while intoxicated and child endangerment. He was fined a total of $3,125 plus court costs, and sentenced to one year in jail, to run concurrently. The sentence was suspended, and Seyfert was placed on probation for one year.

     Carolyn Kay Biggart, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to child endangerment. Judgment was deferred and Biggart was placed on self-supervised probation for six months. She was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $625 plus court costs. The civil penalty was suspended.

     Matthew Raymond Bills, New Vienna, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) 2nd offense. He was fined $315 plus court costs, and sentenced to 30 days in jail. All but two days were suspended, and Bills was placed on self-supervised probation for six months.

     Maggie Mae Carlson, Morley, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while licensed barred. An arraignment is set for May 21.

     Jeremy P. McKnight, Cedar Rapids, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while licensed barred. An arraignment is set for May 21.

     Andrew Lee Holland, Viola, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while licensed barred. An arraignment is set for May 29.

     Maurice Harris, Monticello, was charged with child endangerment. A preliminary hearing is set for June 6.

     Yolanda Denice Rowell, Anamosa, was charged with child endangerment. A preliminary hearing is set for June 6.

     Christopher M. Crowley, Olin, was arrested for unlawful possession of prescription drug, 3rd degree criminal mischief, child endangerment and three counts of possession of a controlled substance. No court date was set.

     Desmond Trvon Westbrook, Cedar Rapids, was found in contempt of court. He was sentenced to 45 days in jail, and assessed court costs.

     Brittany Ann Young, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to two counts of child endangerment. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on supervised probation for two years. She was assessed a civil penalty totaling $1,250 plus court costs.

     Denise Marie O’Brien, Monticello, was charged with 1st degree burglary, driving while barred and assault causing bodily injury. A preliminary hearing is set for May 23.

     Casandra Lea Winkel, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to 2nd degree theft. No court date was set.

     Dylan Ryan Drew, Newton, was charged with introducing contraband on-in grounds of correctional facility. An arraignment is set for May 21.

     Marcus Terrell Allen, Anamosa, was charged with failure to comply with sex offender registry requirement 1st offense. An arraignment is set for May 21.

     Kaleb James Welk, Davenport, was charged with controlled substance violation and possession of controlled substance (marijuana) 2nd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for June 6.

     Ray James Bartram, Wyoming, pleaded guilty to prescription drug violation. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $315 plus court costs. The sentence was suspended, and Bartram was placed on self-supervised probation for one year.

     Megan Barbara Sarazin, Dubuque, pleaded guilty to possession of controlled substance (marijuana). She was fined $315 plus court costs, and sentenced to two days in jail.

     Karen Villegas Ricklefs, Onslow, pleaded not guilty to 2nd degree harassment. A jury trial is set for Aug. 21.

     Brooke Marie Majerus, Monticello, was charged with assault causing bodily injury/mental illness. An arraignment is set for May 21.

     Jeremy Dean Hunter, Wyoming, was charged with assault on persons engaged in certain occupations. An arraignment is set for May 29.

     Jeffrey James Meister, Ryan, was charged with possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine) 1st offense. a preliminary hearing is set for May 30.

     Colton James Craig, Monticello, was cited for possession of controlled substance (marijuana) 1st offense. a court date is set for May 16.

     Allen Michael Boheman, Monticello, pleaded guilty to OWI. He was fined $1,250 plus court costs, and sentenced to two days in jail.
