District Court

     Frank Thomas Young, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to 3rd degree attempted burglary and two counts of child endangerment. He was sentenced to two years in prison, and fined a total of $1,875 plus court costs.

     Maggie Mae Carlson, Morley, pleaded not guilty to driving while barred. A jury trial is set for Aug. 21.

     Taylor Rose Gray, Cedar Rapids, was cited for driving while barred. A court date is set for May 30.

     Denise Marie O’Brien, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to driving while barred and assault causing bodily injury/mental illness. A jury trial is set for July 24.

     Dylan Ryan Drew, Newton, pleaded not guilty to possession of contraband in correctional institution. A jury trial is set for Aug. 21.

     Brooke Marie Majerus, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to child endangerment, OWI 1st offense, driving while license denied/revoked, possession of methamphetamine, and assault causing bodily injury/mental illness. A jury trial is set for July 24.

     Jessica Ann Marie Hartwig, Cedar Rapids, was charged with three counts of forgery. A preliminary hearing is set for June 6.

     Christopher Warren Riches, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $315 plus court costs.

     Courtney Louise Harden, Olin, was charged with three counts of false report of indictable offense to public entity. A preliminary hearing is set for June 6.

     Keegan Terrance Hebert, Olin, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense and unlawful possession of prescription drug. A preliminary hearing is set for June 6.

     Matthew John Peterson, Anamosa, was arrested for possession of marijuana 2nd offense. No court date was set.

     Steven Thomas Byrne, Anamosa, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for June 6.

     Mercades Racquel Rixen, Monticello, was charged with driving while licensed denied/revoked. A court date is set for May 30.

     Robert Nathan Bly, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Thomas John Engelbart, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Jacob Wayne Heatsy, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Aug. 14.
