District Court

     Charles James Ellison, Monticello, pleaded guilty to two counts of domestic abuse assault. He was sentenced to three years in prison, with all but four days suspended; and fined a total of $940 plus court costs. Ellison was also placed on supervised probation for two years.

     Alyssa Elizabeth-Brook Montijo, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to child endangerment, OWI 1st offense, and possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Oct. 16.

     Caitlyn Marie Groth, Olin, pleaded not guilty to unauthorized use of credit card and 4th degree theft. A jury trial is set for Sept. 11.

     Nash Randall Brown, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to driving while barred. A jury trial is set for Oct. 16.

     Michael Dylan Shepherd, Anamosa, was charged with driving while barred. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 1.

     Nicholas Joseph Sances, Olin, was charged with assault while displaying a dangerous weapon. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 1.

     Kyle Douglas Jackson, Stanwood, was charged with carrying weapons and OWI 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 1.

     Kyle Brandon Orcutt, Anamosa, was arrested for unlawful possession of prescription drug and possession of burglar’s tools. No court date was set.

     Karli Raye Beshears, Marion, was charged with possession of methamphetamine 3rd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 8.

     Tyler Mason Kula, Hopkinton, was found guilty of possession of marijuana 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail.

     Philip Dean Smith, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail.

     Michael Andrew Visnapuu, Farley, pleaded not guilty to assault causing bodily injury/mental illness. A jury trial is set for Sept. 25.

     Mercades Racquel Rixen, Monticello, pleaded guilty to driving while license denied/revoked. She was fined $1,000 plus court costs.

     Zane Aidan Riedesel, Madison, Wis., pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Nov. 27.

     Jamie Alen Boge, Anamosa, was charged with driving while license denied/revoked. An arraignment is set for July 30.

     Ashlynn Lea Fortune, Anamosa, was charged with possession of marijuana 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 1.

     Patrick James Snodgrass, Oxford Junction, pleaded guilty to OWI 2nd offense. He was sentenced to seven days in jail, and fined $1,875 plus court costs.

     Joshua Patrick Cudahy, Scotch Grove, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Dale James Entsminger, Dubuque, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Sept. 25.

     Byron James Middlekauff, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Oct. 16.

     Timothy Scott Kruger, Jr., Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 2nd offense and driving while license denied/revoked. A jury trial is set for Oct. 16.

     Clinton Thomas Young, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 3rd offense and driving while license denied/revoked. A jury trial is set for Oct. 16.

     Amy Walters, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Oct. 23.

     Mackenna Kristine Scofield, Lisbon, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Oct. 16.

     Christopher Peter Hosch, Cascade, pleaded not guilty to OWI 3rd offense. A jury trial is set for Oct. 16.

     Christopher David Decker, Monticello, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Brian Wade Rickels, Anamosa, was charged with OWI 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 1.

     Jordan Joseph Honn, Ely, was charged with OWI 2nd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 1.
