District Court

     Yolonda Denice Rowell, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to child endangerment. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on supervised probation for one year. Rowell was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $625 plus court costs.

     Joshua David Klaren, Monticello, pleaded guilty to driving while barred. He was sentenced to 15 days in jail and fined $625 plus court costs.

     Makiah Orion Miller, Mount Vernon, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree harassment. A jury trial is set for Oct. 23.

     Kyle Brandon Orcutt, Anamosa, was charged with 3rd degree burglary. An arraignment is set for Aug. 20.

     Bruce Lamont Johnson, Fort Madison, was charged with two counts of assault on persons engaged in certain occupations. An arraignment is set for Aug. 13.

     Colton James Craig, Monticello, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. Craig was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs.

     Candi Marie Giellis, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana 2nd offense. A jury trial is set for Oct. 16.

     John Christopher Jacobson, Olin, pleaded not guilty to assault causing bodily injury/mental illness. A jury trial is set for Oct. 16.

     Jamie Alan Boge, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to driving while license denied/revoked. A jury trial is set for Oct. 16.

     Levi James Farmer, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to domestic abuse assault-injury/mental illness. A jury trial is set for Oct. 16.

     Austin Reid Sparks, Monticello, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Christopher Michael Sheehan, Walford, pleaded guilty to OWI 3rd offense. He was sentenced to five years in prison, with all but 30 days suspended. Sheehan was placed on probation for three years, and fined $3,125 plus court costs.

     Chelsea Sheila Haugen, Edgewood, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. She was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Cory Alan Bellings, Bellevue, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Oct. 16.

     Alan L. Strother, Anamosa, was charged with OWI 2nd offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 22.

     Halsey Lee Hunt, Morley, pleaded guilty to two counts of driving while barred. He was sentenced to 25 days in jail, to run concurrently with two Linn County sentences. Hunt was fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Dana Lee Abbott, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to child endangerment and possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Oct. 23.

     Michael Dylan Shepherd, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to driving while barred. A jury trial is set for Oct. 23.

     Nicholas Joseph Sances, Olin, pleaded not guilty to assault while displaying a dangerous weapon. A jury trial is set for Oct. 23.

     Griffin Houston Hansen, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of simple assault. He was fined $100 plus court costs. He also pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. Hansen was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs.

     Michael Gene Recker, Scotch Grove, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, with all but two days suspended. Recker was placed on supervised probation for three years, and fined $1,000 plus court costs.

     John Richard Schilt, Monticello, pleaded guilty to driving while barred and possession of marijuana 1st offense. He was sentenced to 180 days in jail, with all but two days suspended. Schilt was placed on self-supervised probation for one year, and fined $625 plus court costs.

     Kayla Michelle Stolba Ritzke, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to 1st degree burglary and 2nd degree criminal mischief. A jury trial is set for Oct. 23.

     Jason Alan Parker, Anamosa, was charged with 2nd degree theft. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 22.

     Joshua Lee Finneman, Anamosa, was charged with possession of contraband in correctional institution and 5th degree theft. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 27.

     Karen Villegas Ricklefs, Onslow, pleaded guilty to 2nd degree harassment. Judgment was deferred, and she was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. Ricklefs was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs.

     Kyler Radford Brundage, Wyoming, was cited for possession of marijuana 1st offense. A court date was set for Sept. 5.

     Cory John Onken, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Oct. 23.
