District Court

     Charles James Ellison, Monticello, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 65 days in jail. Ellison was also found guilty of 2nd degree harassment, OWI 3rd offense, 3rd degree burglary, 3rd degree theft, eluding, and three counts of driving while license revoked. He was sentenced to five years in prison, and fined a total of $6,440 plus court costs. All but 30 days were suspended, and Ellison was placed on probation for three years.

     Taylor Rose Gray, Central City, pleaded guilty to driving while barred. She was sentenced to 40 days in jail, and fined $625 plus court costs. The fine was suspended.

     Kyle Brandon Orcutt, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of prescription drug. He was sentenced to 10 days in jail, and fined $315 plus court costs. Orcutt was also found guilty of 2nd degree theft and 3rd degree burglary. He was sentenced to five years in prison, and fined a total of $1,500 plus court costs. The sentence and fines were suspended, and he was placed on probation for three years.

     Logan Matthew Toomer, Olin, was found guilty of 3rd degree burglary. He was sentenced to five years in prison, and fined $750 plus court costs. The sentence was suspended, and Toomer was placed on probation for three years. He was also ordered to pay $100 in victim restitution.

     Anthony Michael Padilla, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of prescription drug without prescription and possession with intent to deliver controlled substance (Xanax). Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for two years. Padilla was ordered to pay civil penalties totaling $940 pus court costs, with $625 suspended.

     Jamie Alan Boge, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to 3rd degree burglary. A jury trial is set for Jan. 29.

     Thomas Michael Phillips, Clarence, was charged with eluding. A preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 16.

     Tami Lynn Duffy, Cascade, was charged with 2nd degree theft. An arraignment is set for Nov. 13.

     Brian Paul Zirkelbach, Monticello, was charged with OWI 1st offense and possession of marijuana 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 16.

     Jennifer Marie Moorer, Lisbon, was charged with OWI 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 16.

     Shelby Lynn Minnaert, Olin, pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine 1st offense and possession of marijuana 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 29.

     Timothy John Watters, Wyoming, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $315 plus court costs.

     Ashley Ammonda Fitch, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to domestic abuse assault-causing bodily injury. No court date was set.

     Carol Jean Mettler, Anamosa, was charged with possession of methamphetamine 1st offense. A preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 9.

     Jordan Philip Higgins, Iowa City, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Angela Lee Pearson, Olin, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana 1st offense. She was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $315 plus court costs. She had a charge of OWI, dismissed.

     Kimberly Ann Hulke, Olin, pleaded guilty to OWI 1st offense. She was sentenced to two days in jail and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Calvin Theodore Clark, Onslow, pleaded not guilty to OWI 2nd offense and public intoxication 2nd offense. A jury trial is set for Dec. 11.

     Jamie Joseph Buresh, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 29.

     Rosemary J. Peck, Wyoming, was charged with OWI 2nd offense. a preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 16.

     David John Costello, Anamosa, was arrested for OWI 1st offense. No court date was set.
