District Court

     Austin Reid Sparks, Monticello, pleaded guilty to assault causing bodily injury. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on self-supervised probation for one year. He was also ordered to pay a civil penalty of $315 plus court costs, and victim restitution in the amount of $1,774.

     Jason Alan Parker, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to the lesser offense of 3^rd degree theft. He was sentenced to two years in prison, and fined $625 plus court costs. The Sentence was suspended, and Parker was placed on self-supervised probation for two years. He was also ordered to pay victim restitution.

     Zachary Michael Everts, Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to 2^nd degree theft. A jury trial is set for Dec. 18.

     Dale James Entsminger, Dubuque, pleaded guilty to OWI 1^st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Timothy Scott Kruger, Jr., Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1^st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Andrew Eugene Simon, Dubuque, pleaded guilty to OWI 1^st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Christopher O. Brissett, Maquoketa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1^st offense. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined $1,250 plus court costs.

     Robert William Michaelis, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to OWI 1^st offense. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $1,250 plus court costs.

     Juan Genaro Capetillo, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1^st offense. A jury trial is set for Feb. 5.

     James Christopher Jackson, Bellevue, pleaded not guilty to OWI 1^st offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 29.
