Donations sought for Jones County veteran supply drive

The Jones County Volunteer Center and Jones County Veterans Affairs are working together to collect personal hygiene products for the annual Veteran Supply Drive. 

The Personal Hygiene Kit Supply Drive helps to honor the anniversary of 9/11 and Patriot Day. 

All items collected will be put together in hygiene kits and distributed to local food banks. Aside from donating individual items, you can also sponsor a full kit for $12 each. The sponsored kits will include your business/ organization logo. 

What you can contribute: 

• Deodorant 

• Toothpaste 

• Toothbrushes 

• Floss 

• Shampoo and conditioner 

• Shaving cream 

• Feminine products 

• Brushes 

• Soap and body wash 

• Monetary donations 

Drop-off sites: 

• Citizens State Bank in Monticello 

• Jones County Veterans Affairs in Anamosa 

• Jones County Volunteer Center in Anamosa

Collections will end on Friday, Sept. 27.
