Donna Goldfein, passed away on Feb. 2, 2018 at the age of 83 years. 

Born in Jones County, Iowa on August 4, 1933, Donna was raised on her family’s farm and in the City of Anamosa. Upon completion of her education, Donna moved to St. Louis to work in reservations for TWA, also finding time to win Miss Missouri. Later, while traveling throughout the world in her role as a flight attendant for American Airlines and ARAMCO. She lived in Europe and the Middle East prior to her marriage to Daniel Goldfein in 1960.

Settling in San Francisco, California she was active with numerous boards including the Zion Lutheran Church Board, (Missouri Synod), Town School for Boys and served as President of the Kiwi Club, an organization of former American Airlines flight attendants.  Donna was the founder of ESTE (Easy Steps Toward Efficiency), a time management-consulting group. She conducted time management classes throughout the San Francisco Bay Area gaining national recognition from her radio series aired on Focus on the Family Radio. Donna worked for American Airlines for over fifty years retiring as the senior accountant for operations San Francisco Bay Area. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years.  She will be remembered as a loving mother to her daughter Dana, sons David and Dean and grandmother to seven grandchildren; George, Eva, Spencer, Dara, Eiten, Elizabeth and Daniella, a devoted mother-in-law to Scot Malloy, Sandy Goldfein and Tamira Elul and a loving sister to Patrica Folkers Kaiser of Monticello.

A memorial service for Donna will be held at 11 a.m., on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Wayne Zion Lutheran Church, Monticello.
