Dugan sentenced to 15 years on meth charges

     On Dec. 30, Bradley Dugan, Anamosa, was sentenced on one count of possession of intent to deliver less than 5 grams of methamphetamine and one count of a drug tax stamp violation as a habitual offender.

   Dugan was sentenced to an indeterminate term not to exceed 10 years on the Class C felony (possession of intent to deliver charge), and an indeterminate term not to exceed 15 years on the enhanced tax stamp violation. The counts were ordered to run concurrently to one another.

   Dugan is not eligible for parole for at least three years.

   This case was investigated by the Anamosa Police Department. Assistant Jones County Attorney Sara Smith handled the successful prosecution on behalf of the State of Iowa.
