E. First St. accident

A single-vehicle accident took place around 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7. The driver of the vehicle, Steven DiBell of Monticello, sustained minor injuries as his vehicle turned onto E. First Street from Main Street and flipped, landing on the driver’s side. DiBell also hit a fire hydrant in front of Hartig Drug, knocking it off its base. Koob Automotive & Towing assisted in removing the vehicle off the roadway. The Monticello Police and Ambulance responded to the scene. (Photo by Kim Brooks)
