Eagles compete in TRC tourney

     Midland had two champions, and three finalists overall, during the Tri-Rivers Conference Wrestling Tournament Jan. 26 at East Buchanan in Winthrop.

     Damon Huston won the 106-pound class by pinning Cade Siebrecht of Lisbon in the finals. Brett Schoenherr was the 220-pound champion, edging Luke Recker of East Buchanan 4-3 in the title match.

     Hunter Shoaff finished second at 285 pounds. Taking third place were Griffin Gravel at 126 and Cayden Miller at 138.

     Lisbon was the runaway team champion, winning by 94 points over runner-up East Buchanan, 245 to 151. North Linn was third with 126. Midland placed seventh with 107.5 points.
