Eagles go to Early Bird

     Midland competed in the West Delaware Early Bird girls track and field meet March 26 in Manchester.

     Drew Jensen finished second in the 400-meter dash, with a time of 1 minute, 2.73 seconds.

     Emma Dusanek was third in the 100, in 13.75 seconds.

     “It was a good first outdoor meet for the girls,” Midland coach Ryan Luensman said. “Every opportunity we get to be on the track is helpful, and you can see the girls getting more comfortable.

     “Emma Dusanek had a strong day, and Drew Jensen improved in the 400. Kayla Folkers looked strong in both of her distance races. Chiara Dusanek and Taylor Bahnsen had nice races as well.”
