ELECTION RESULTS: Incumbents retain seats on Monticello Council

The three incumbents running for Monticello City Council will retain their seats after unofficial results from tonight's election were tallied. 

All results are unofficial. 

Three council seats were on the ballot this year. Josh Brenneman (271), Candy Langerman (227) and Dave Goedken (219) received the most votes, ahead of their fellow candidates Ben Duehr (206) and Brenda Hanken (115). 

Jake Ellwood is unofficially Monticello's new mayor after running unopposed. He garnered 338 votes. 

Three candidates sought three seats for the Monticello Community School Board were on the ballot. Mandy Noton and Craig Stadtmueller retained their seats and J. Creighton Randolph was also elected.
