Faber wins football contest

   Loras Faber of Monticello is this week’s winner of the Express Football Contest. Faber missed just two games and correctly guessed the tiebreaker score of 55 points, earning himself $15.

     Placing second was Kevin Knapp of Stanwood. Knapp also missed two games. His tiebreaker score was 46 points, good for the second place prize of $5.

     Among the guest pickers, Dianne Pedrin and Becky Cooper, of Above & Beyond, combined to miss five games. Dave Haag of Spahn & Rose missed six games, and Aaron McAtee of Fareway missed eight games.

     The Bills-Titans game was moved to Tuesday night and scratched from the contest. This week’s contest had 52 entries. Winners may pick up their checks at the Express.
