Farm Bureau donates $5000 for flood relief

The Jones County Farm Bureau Board of Directors voted to donate $5000 to the Iowa Flood Relief efforts at its April board meeting.

The donation has been sent to the American Red Cross in Des Moines to help manage the needs of western Iowa flood victims who have been affected by the flooding of the Missouri River.

Jones County Farm Bureau believes that in times like these farmers come together and do what they can for those in crisis, whether it be locally or in other areas of the state. The directors of Jones County and their members are proud to give support to our neighbors in western Iowa and will do what they can for those who are struggling after catastrophic flooding.
