FFA Tractorcade Benefit Ride is set for Sept. 14

The Anamosa, Monticello, and Midland FFA Chapters are joining arms to host the first annual Jones County FFA Tractorcade Benefit Ride on Saturday, Sept. 14.

Those interested in participating can register at https://anamosaffachapter.webs.com/ or call the Anamosa FFA Chapter at 319-462-3594, ext. 1514.

Check in will be from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m. with a driver meeting at 8:15 a.m. Cost per tractor will be $30 and donations will also be welcomed.

The tractors will start their engines at the Jones County Fairgrounds in Monticello, Iowa promptly at 8:30 a.m.  The ride will go approximately 58 miles through the west side of scenic Jones County. It will visit Anamosa, Martelle, Morley, Olin, Amber, and round out the loop back at the fairgrounds in Monticello. There will be a lunch stop in Martelle with a hot meal available for purchase.

All proceeds raised will be donated to a non-profit or family that has experienced a hardship in the Jones County community. The chapters’ goal is to come together and support one another in the local area.

Participants are encouraged to join the tractorcade and have a great time getting to know future leaders in the agricultural industry.
