FFA Week: Meet Midland FFA’s 2025-26 Officers

Five seniors and a sophomore make up this year’s Midland FFA Chapter officers, and they all stay busy with multiple supervised agricultural experiences (SAE), many FFA and school activities and planning for their future.
Here’s a glimpse of each of the Midland FFA officers.
Wyatt Christiansen – President
Grade: 12
Years in FFA: 5
Favorite FFA Activity: Showing Cattle
SAE: I have 5 different SAE’s that all correspond with each other. I work on Christiansen Family Farms, raise beef and pork, process and sell meat and work for Risius Vet Clinic.
Plans after high school: After high school, I plan to go to Kirkwood and attend their beef program.
Jayden Dirks – Vice President
Grade: 12
Years in FFA: 5
Favorite FFA Activity: Elementary Visits
SAE: I currently have two SAEs. My first one is helping our BBQ team and doing their social media. My second SAE is managing and
organizing a closet with all items of official dress for members who are missing parts.
Plans after high school: After high school, I plan to attend Montana State University and
double major in ag education, ag business and a certification program in entrepreneurship.
Landri Hansen - Secretary
Grade: 10
Years in FFA: 3
Favorite FFA Activity: Ag CSI
SAE: I have 2 SAEs. My first is Hansen Livestock, where I work with cattle goats and poultry. My second SAE is swine entrepreneurship, where I raise and work with swine.
Plans after high school: After high school, I plan to attend a university to study ag business and communications.
Issac Beranek – Sentinel

Years in FFA: 5
Favorite FFA Activity: Experience the Action
SAE: My SAE is working at Naylors seed, where I clean grain bins and work with seed production.
Plans after high school: After high school, I plan to work at Wendling where I will run heavy equipment.
Theo Baumer – Treasurer
Grade: 12
Years in FFA: 5
Favorite FFA Activity: Ag Mechanics
SAE: My SAE is working with Bouselott Swine, where I help with loading, vaccinations and doing chores.
Plans after high school: I plan to become a rig welder after school, as well as coach hockey.
Sophia Hunter – Reporter
Grade: 12
Years in FFA: 5
Favorite FFA Activity: Ski Trip
SAE: I have two SAEs. My first one is working at Anamosa Floral and creating floral arrangements and helping customers. My second one is my photography business, taking portraits and agricultural photos.
Plans after high school: After high school, I plan to continue working at Anamosa Floral while I am growing my photography business.
