Gas leak

On Oct. 3 around 8:30 a.m., a gas main was hit in the 800 block of S. Main Street after a subcontractor working with Alliant Energy was completing underground utility work. This caused two residences to be evacuated. S. Main Street from Northhaven Drive to Southhaven Drive was closed to traffic. Repairs took a few hours until the road was opened to traffic.
