Harvey C. Johnson March 29, 1945 – Nov. 21, 2022

      Harvey C Johnson, 77, of Monticello, Iowa passed away on Monday, Nov. 21, 2022. A Celebration of Life and luncheon will be held at Monticello Eagles Club Saturday, Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. to honor Harvey.

    Harvey was born March 29, 1945 in Monticello, Iowa to Clarence and Minnie (Luck) Johnson. Harvey was united in marriage to Cynthia Ehlts on Feb. 3, 1968. Harvey and Cynthia had two sons, CJ Johnson born in 1968 and Joseph D. Johnson born in 1976. Harvey was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Army from 1963-1966. He worked at Bader's Masonery and Energy. Harvey greatly enjoyed the outdoors, particularly fishing, playing cards, driving all over Iowa and surrounding states, and talking to friends he met along the way.

    Harvey is survived by his wife, Cyndy J. Johnson; sons, CJ (Dionne Prull) Johnson and Joe D. (Brooke) Johnson; grandchildren, Chelsea (Cody Tracy), Asher Johnson, and Ruby Johnson; step-grandchildren, Allison Barnhart and Zander Alden; siblings, Harlan (Debbie) Johnson, Virgil (Judy) Johnson, and Ruth Ann (Mike) Less.
