Health fair a huge success

To the Editor, 

The committee for the Healthy, Wealthy and Wise Community Health Fair would like to extend our sincere thank-you to all the vendors, donors, participants, and everyone else who helped to make the health fair a huge success. 

This year, the health fair had over 40 vendor booths, sharing important information on services available in our community that promote a lifestyle that is “Healthy, Wealthy and Wise.” Participants also enjoyed a Sit and Get Fit demonstration, live music by Chris Ross, a free lunch prepared by Jones County Senior Dining, bingo, and prizes. 

The health fair recognized Jones County Senior Dining for the services they provide throughout the county and presented Lisa Tallman, dining director, with a check for $500. 

Thank you, again, for your support in making the 2019 Healthy, Wealthy and Wise Community Health Fair a success!
