Henry Bemrose Sept. 12, 1947-Oct. 31, 2017

     Henry Bemrose, age 70, died Tuesday Oct. 31, 2017 at his home following sudden illness. 

     Funeral services will be held 11 Monday morning, at the Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:30 Monday at the Goettsch Funeral Home. Thoughts, Mmemories and condolences may be left atwww.goettschonline.com. 

     Surviving are four children, Tim (Angelich Fenton) Bemrose, Strawberry Point, April (Eric) Smith, Olathe, Kan., Amy Dieckmann, Chillicothe, Mo., Abby (Jon) Massey, Greeley, Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and three sisters, Marilyn Wolfe, Monticello, Jean Van Pelt, Spirit Lake, Linda (Sam) Tarbox, Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Adam and a brother Raymond. 

     Henry Levi Bemrose was born Sept. 12, 1947 in San Bernardino, Calif. He was the son of Albert and Joyce Appleby Bemrose. Henry graduated from the Monticello Community Schools in 1967. Before he graduated he had started working at Energy Manufacturing. Henry was employed there for 40 years until his retirement in 2007. Henry had been married to Evelyn Forsythe and Sally Switzer with both marriages ending in divorce.

     Henry was a member of the Monticello Eagles Club. He loved to go hunting and fishing. He especially loved to watch old western movies.
