Hometown Pride

Members of Monticello’s Hometown Pride/Main Street committee showed off some community pride last week on July 22 as they cleaned the windows of the former Dollar General building. The gals, Shannon Poe, Katie Roher, Sheila Tjaden, and Monica Gray, cleaned the windows inside and out, an all-afternoon project. The building is the future home to Monticello’s Rural Innovation Lab and Creative Adventure Lab. The HTP committee has plans to continue their window project up and down First Street.
