Iowa's Ride

Monday, July 13 brought one of Iowa’s Ride cyclists to Monticello: Von Ketelsen, a farm broadcaster for Carroll Broadcasting Co. Ketelsen was tackling just over 56 miles of the Iowa’s Ride route from Monticello to Central City and then on to Vinton. He made some new friends while he stopped at Java Jones that morning after leaving Cobblestone Inn & Suites where he spent the night. Also while in Monticello, Ketelsen needed some minor bike repairs. Dave NcNeill at McNeill Hardware was happy to solve his problem.
