JoAnn Liggett October 20, 1943 – October 29, 2017

JoAnn Liggett, age 74, died Sunday October 29, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. 

Graveside services will be held 11:00 Saturday morning, Nov. 4, 2017 at the Oakwood Cemetery.  Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, is caring for JoAnn and her family. 

Surviving are 3 children, Angie (Ron) Provencher, Thomas (Miki) Liggett, William Liggett III, 4 grandchildren, T. J. Liggett, Alex Liggett, Jo (Brian) Provencher and Kyle (Stephanie) Provencher, 3 great-grandchildren, Echo, Madison and Riley.  Her siblings, Julie (Jim), Dennis (Pam) and Lori (Dave).

JoAnn Foster was born October 20, 1943 in Monticello.  She was the daughter of William and Alma Brokaw, Foster.   She received her education in the Monticello Community Schools.  JoAnn married William Liggett on February 12, 1963 in Brainerd, Minn. The couple lived in Monticello and Cedar Rapids before they divorced in 1984.   JoAnn was employed at Kum and Go for many years.
