      JoAnn M. Dingbaum, 83, of Hopkinton, Iowa passed away Sunday, Oct. 18, 2020, at Pinicon Place Senior Living, Anamosa, Iowa.

      Visitation will be held 3-8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020, at Kramer Funeral Home in Monticello where a parish vigil service will be held at 3 p.m.  Visitation will continue Friday from 9-10 a.m.              at Kramer Funeral Home prior to funeral services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 23, 2020 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, Hopkinton with burial in the Hopkinton cemetery.  Rev. Paul Baldwin will officiate. Masks are required at mass.

      JoAnn was born Aug. 18, 1937 in Ryan, Iowa the daughter of Roy and Lucille (Chapman) Yonkovic.  She married Bill Dingbaum on Nov. 12, 1955 in Hopkinton.

      JoAnn had a zest for life.  She was full of fun, love and spice. She was a “doer,” working many jobs and volunteering her time to her local community activities. She cherished her bus driving and the many students she drove for. She was a devoted farmwife and mother. She most enjoyed time spent with her grandkids and great-grandkids.

      Survivors include her husband of 65 years in November, Bill,  children: Billie Jo (Ken) Darby of Cedar Falls, Bonnie (Ron Coates) Sands of Dubuque, Becky (Mark) Stahlberg of Monticello, grandchildren: Jaymie (Chad) Feldmann, Ben (Jess) White, Brian White, Jill (Kevin) Domeyer, Brent (Stephanie) Sands, Jeff ( Rachel) Sands, Natalie (Brandon) Zousel, Brooke (Trey MacTaggart) Stahlberg, Lane Stahlberg, Lake Stahlberg, Breanne Stahlberg, eight great-grandchildren, siblings: Raymond (Karene) Yonkovic, Nina Kray, Rosie (Ron) Dirks Hendricks, Sherry Schonberg, Deborah (Daryl) Porter, Tony Yonkovic, Janet (Ted) McDonell, in-laws: Deb Yonkovic, Patti Heller, Margie Fisher, Phyllis (Harry) Felderman, Mary Jo Dingbaum, Steve (Sonya) Dingbaum. 

      She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Russell Yonkovic, John Yonkovic, in-laws: Bill Kray, Denny Dirks, Bob Schonberg, Jackie Dingbaum.

      The family would like to thank the staff at Pinicon Ridge Place in Anamosa for their compassionate care.
