JREC offers Intro. to Photography

     Kirkwood’s Jones Regional Education Center in Monticello is offering Introduction to Photography, a condensed, three-hour workshop for operating DSLR cameras on Saturday, Jan. 20, from 9 a.m. to noon. With personalized instruction from local photographer Emily Martensen, this workshop will help simplify your many DSLR camera settings so you feel confident taking photos in various situations.

     In addition to basic camera functions, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of photography, including shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and how to compose better photos. Learn ideal camera settings for various situations, both indoor and outdoor, such as events, children, and nature scenes.
