After over 21 years of providing healthcare to the Monticello community, UnityPoint Health – Jones Regional Medical Center (JRMC) is excited to announce expansion plans to its Family Medicine Clinic in Monticello.

Construction at the existing clinic, located at 740 E. Oak St. in Monticello, is in the planning stages and is expected to add approximately 3,300 square feet to accommodate additional services in 2020-21. At the same time, the clinic will also be renovated. Both improvements are aimed at providing an even better patient experience. Details on specific services to be added to the clinic will be released at a later date.

“We’ve seen a tremendous surge in the number of new patients that have entrusted us with their care,” said Eric Briesemeister, JRMC CEO. “Because of this influx of patients, we added a fourth healthcare provider and now we’re expanding our physical footprint. Through this expansion in Monticello we will continue to provide the high quality, personalized and convenient care to every patient who comes through the doors. It was gratifying to be able to re-negotiate our lease at our current location and expand in the place where we’ve provided services for so many years.”

Family Medicine providers at Monticello clinic include: Drs. Michael Weston and Angela Schwendinger, along with Nicholas Lynn, PA-C, and Jen Driscoll, ARNP.

The Monticello Family Medicine expansion is anticipated to be completed by spring 2021.
