JRMC announces new board members
UnityPoint Health – Jones Regional Medical Center (JRMC) has announced the appointment of three new members of the board of directors: Aimee Hospodarsky, Dave Kehoe (as board chair), and Janine Sulzner.
“Our board of directors consists of a dedicated team of community leaders committed to improving healthcare,” said Eric Briesemeister, CEO of JRMC. “We are pleased to welcome Aimee, Dave, and Janine to our board to assist in furthering our mission.”
Aimee Hospodarsky of Monticello serves as an elementary school counselor consultant at Grant Wood Area Education Agency. She received her master’s degree in school counseling from Drake University. She previously served as president of the Iowa School Counselor Association (ISCA) as has represented school counselors in various state-level groups. She is the proud recipient of the ISCA 2019 Elementary School Counselor of the Year award and the 2020 Iowa School Counselor award.
Dave Kehoe serves as the market president at Ohnward Bank & Trust in Monticello. He received his undergraduate degree in agricultural business and a minor in computer science from Iowa State University. In addition to serving on the JRMC Board for the past three years, Kehoe also serves on the Monticello School Foundation Board, Kirkwood Foundation Board, and Kirkwood Foundation Investment Committee. With over 30 years of experience in the banking industry, he provides a wealth of knowledge to the organization.
Janine Sulzner of Morley served as the Jones County Auditor for over 26 years and retired in 2021. In addition to leading the county government operations, she also served in many state-level leadership roles, and on a federal elections committee during her tenure as auditor. She currently served on the Jones County Community Foundation, the Jones Soil & Water Conservation District Commission, the Jones County Planning & Zoning Commission, and volunteers with the Jones County Days For Girls project and as a driver for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program. She is also serving on the planning committee for a new Iowa Women Land and Legacy group for Jones and Delaware counties.
