JRMC opening retail pharmacy

UnityPoint Health–Jones Regional Medical Center (JRMC) is discontinuing its partnership with Pharmacy Care Centre that occupies space on the JRMC campus. In its place, JRMC will open a new pharmacy, Jones Regional Pharmacy (JRP), to serve the needs of patients, employees, and the community. The new pharmacy will open on Friday, April 3.

It’s the goal of JRMC to provide exceptional patient care from the moment someone walks into the hospital or one of its clinics to when they go home. Jones Regional Pharmacy will allow for a more integrated continuum of care for JRMC patients and employees and will ensure consistent pharmacy services.

Jones Regional Pharmacy will be open to the public and start taking and filling prescriptions on Friday, April 3. Customers are encouraged to call the Jones Regional Pharmacy at 319-481-6240 for prescription refills or with any questions they may have regarding the transition.

JRMC is excited about bringing this new opportunity to the community and will continue to look for ways to keep care and services local in Jones County.
