Judith Ferring Brown Sept. 21, 1935 – April 7, 2020

      Judith Ferring Brown died April 7, 2020.

      She was raised in Monticello where she attended and graduated from Sacred Heart High School. In 1964, she moved to Miami, Fla. Where she had a forty-five year career in banking, Most of those years with the Dadeland Bank of Miami. In 1969, she married William E. Brown of Miami who was then employed by Miami Dade County Transit Authority. In 1998, they retired to Crossville, Tenn. where William died of cancer in 2001.

      She is survived by a sister Frances Frost of Monticello, two daughters and a granddaughter from her husband’s first marriage, Linda Smith of Sunrise, Fla., Laura Watkins and Samantha Schramski of Knoxville, Tenn. She was preceded in death by a brother John Ferring and sister Linda Chapman.
