Karde’s 151 rated top truck stop

     Karde’s 151 in Monticello was listed as one of the top 10 independent truck stops in the country.

     The top-10 list was released from “Trucker Path,” a smartphone app to help truck/semi drivers find nearby truck stops, travel centers, and rest areas through the country. The app contains over 6,000 truck stop locations.

     The app also lets drivers comment on the various truck stop locations, rating the experience and amenities.

     A variety of criteria was used when rating the top 10: available truck parking, customer service, useful amenities such as shower facilities, repair services, laundry facilities, and Wi-Fi availability. Other points of interest included restaurant options and quality food.

     Karde’s 151 received a 4.708 rating out of 5. They were the only truck stop in the State of Iowa to receive the recognition.
