Krommingas note golden anniversary

     Duane and Connie Kromminga, Hopkinton, will celebrate their 50^th wedding anniversary with an open house from 3-7 p.m. Saturday, July 1, at the Hopkinton Community Center.

     Duane Kromminga and the former Connie Drake were united in marriage on Dec. 21, 1966 at the Shortsville Baptist Church, Shortsville, Pa.

     They are the parents of five children: Melissa (Steve) Murrell, Clinton; Shawn (Shelly) Kromminga, Monticello; Chad (Kari) Kromminga, Monticello; Aimee (Bobby) Ratliff, Serverna Park, Md.; and Amanda Stastny, Platteville, Wis. They have one son-in-law, Kevin Stastny, who is deceased. They also have 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
