Like's perfect score wins

     Matt Like of Marion correctly guessed every game to take home first place honors in this week’s Express football contest, the first of the season. Matt won $15 for his effort.

     Several contestants missed just one game. Marv Manternach, of Monticello, had the closest tie-breaker score, 63 (73) to take home the second place prize of $10.

     Also missing one game were Donna Manternach (55), Steve Kuehn (54), Tom Luensman (38) and Phil Larabee (36).

     Among the guest pickers, both from the Express, Pete Temple missed four games and Mark Spensley missed six.

     Winners can pick up their checks at the Express. Out of town contestants will have theirs mailed to them. This week’s contest had 63 entries.
