Lillian LaVonne Willwerth April 5, 1931 – July 16, 2022

      Lillian LaVonne Willwerth, 91, of Boerne, Texas, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022. Lillian LaVonne was born on April 5, 1931, in Monticello Iowa. She was the daughter of Leonard and Mabel-Hinricks Fluckiger.

    Lillian graduated from Monticello High School in 1949. She attended Capri College in Cedar Rapids for Beauty School, where she later became the owner of her own beauty salon in Monticello. She married her high school sweetheart, Dean R. Willwerth on May 25, 1951. Dean served in the United States Army as a pilot and served in the Korea and Vietnam war.

    Dean and Lillian retired to Fair Oaks Ranch, Texas in 1983. They joined the Fair Oaks Golf Club, meeting lots of friends and enjoyed all the amenities the club had to offer. They loved their house and community.

    Dean and Lillian are survived by their three children, Dan Dean Willwerth, Lynn Ann Willwerth, and De'Ann Willwerth Cooley and are the proud grandparents of seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, which was once five generations.

    Lillian's beloved husband Dean passed away on Feb. 1, 2021. She will be laid to rest next to him at Oakwood Cemetery in Monticello. Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, has taken Lillian and her family into their care.
